Privacy policy

basuna.app has no user accounts. We collect no names, no email addresses, and nothing that would let us recognise you.

Play counter

Clicking “Play” adds one to that game's counter. We store the game name and the date, nothing else — no IP address, no browser identifier, no information about you. Your browser remembers in session storage which games it has already counted so they are not counted twice; that never leaves your device and disappears when you close the tab.

Your IP address is used briefly in server memory so that nobody can inflate the counter with a script. It is never written to the database or to a log, and it disappears whenever the application restarts.

Google Analytics

If you consent, we load Google Analytics 4 to see which games get visited and from which countries. Google receives that data. Analytics does not load at all until you click “I agree” — no Google script is on the page before that moment.

You can withdraw consent at any time through the “Privacy settings” link in the footer. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and is exactly as easy as giving consent.

Game files

The games run entirely in your browser and save progress locally (localStorage). That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
